Unlikely friends
I've been fascinated by the different flora and fauna of Australia and now New Zealand. One tree that I really like is the Cabbage tree. I don't know the scientific name for the tree but it looks sort of like stalks of celery. They grow to be quite tall too. Here you can see some growing beside a grove of olives.
We were invited to stay at a beautiful home near Hamilton, New Zealand a couple of nights ago. We arrived late at night after a long drive and a meeting with combined groups of Israel supporters. Imagine our delight to see a very unlikely pair of friends near the drive as we entered the property. They told me they had arrived as friends and don't like to be separated by more than a few meters.
