Hey! Look what I just realized I could see from my hotel window.

We haven't gotten around to doing it in full costume yet this week but the dance numbers are coming together. I got all the steps in the correct order last night! Unfortunately, we found out the sound trac has been changed and our steps now have different music. That was odd...

When we arrive at the theater, the stage is like a blank canvas. Barren land! The seats are empty and there is nothing to see of any great value. In a little while, this stage will hold thousands to riviting attention. Theater is so much like magic!

This is the front of the Japan America Theatre, Azusa Street, Los Angeles.

The blocking of the staging was today. We each learned what parts we would play and got basic instructions about where to stand and what to do in each scene. I found out that I have parts in 10 scenes and that means 10 costume changes. This is going to be wild! Tomorrow I will find out what my costumes look like and try to figure out how to make the changes, back stage in the dark. YIKES!

I've made my way to California where I have begun working on rehearsals for presentations of, "The Covenant." We will be doing the show 6 times in the Japan America theater which is located exactly where the Azusa Street revival broke out in 1906.

Frustrated

I haven't been able to get into my own blog since Hurricane Katrina blew through New Orleans. I'm looking for a solution...
